2CH DAB+ Switches Off On Friday June 10

On Friday June 10, Classic Hits 2CH (now 2CH DAB+) will be switched off after 90 years of broadcasting. Breakfast/morning announcer Tim Webster commented on Social Media: “Yes, tomorrow evening at 6pm it’s all over for us. To be honest we were probably on borrowed time. My very loyal and just lovely listeners kept us going. It’s an outpouring of actual grief this morning on texts, voice and emails. Humbling.”

The 2CH weekday team also included Jane Nield and Nay Pearce with weekend presenters Matt Pardy, Nims Azoor, Michael Loughnan, Eddie Olek and John Tamb.
