2TM Now TMFM

Today June 16, 2TM officially flicked the switch and transitioned from 1287AM to TMFM 95.5.

Local Tamworth singer-songwriter Cody Walker, who won the station’s 2025 Discovered competition joined breakfast presenter Sharnae Birkett on air this morning as part of the celebrations, debuting his new single Shooting Stars.

It’s been a big year for the Super Radio Network station. 2TM turned 90 in February, was a key part of the 53rd Tamworth Country Music Festival where radio presenter and journalist Jon Wolfe was also honoured at the Golden Fiddle Awards with the 2025 Community Service Award and they also appointed a new general manager Steve Nicholas.

SCA Announces New Appointments

SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.

rise 96.5 – Same sound. Same heart. Same hope. New name.

Brisbane’s own long-standing Christian radio station 96.5, has unveiled its new name and brand identity: Rise 96.5. The station was birthed in Brisbane on the FM dial almost 30 years ago. (on air team pictured above)
