5 Days to Enter Awards!

Entries for the 2024 CBAA Community Broadcasting Awards close Monday, 1 July at 11:59PM AEST. That’s just five days for you to submit entries for your station, programs, staff and volunteers. Some of the categories up for grabs include:

Outstanding Presenter: News & Current Affairs
This new award recognises outstanding news and current affairs presenters or teams.
 
Outstanding Fundraising & Sponsorship Contribution
This award acknowledges an outstanding fundraising or sponsorship manager or team.
 
Outstanding Technical Contribution

This award celebrates an individual or team who has contributed to the station’s technical health in an outstanding way.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to be recognised for the outstanding work of your station and the people who make it all possible. Entry is free and simple, and our team is standing by to help you if you have any questions. Just email [email protected] or give us a call on (02) 9310 2999.
 
And if you’ve already started an entry, don’t forget to submit it by 1 July! We can’t consider entries that haven’t been completed.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
