Adam Shirley will be the new ABC Radio Canberra breakfast host in 2023. English born Shirley replaces Lish Fejer at the new time slot of 6am. Lish will move to mornings and be heard from 9am-11am. Also Emma Bickley will move to Saturday breakfast.
Southern Cross Austereo cancels three regional breakfast shows
SCA has axed threes shows on the Triple M and Hit Network, as part of a cost cutting exercise that will see between 250 and 300 job losses within the company. (Source: Mumbrella). Among the breakfast show casualties were the Hit Network’s Bronte and Lakey breakfast show, anchored by Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey (pictured). The show recorded from Sea FM’s Gold Coast studio, and was simulcast across regional Queensland.
Good to see Adam finally returns to 666AM Breakfast. Talent trumps policy, something the ABC continue.
