Australian Podcast Ranker – December

The Australian Podcast Ranker for December has been released by Commercial Radio and Audio (CRA) and Triton Digital. The No 1 Podcast this survey is ABC News Top Stories (ABC) with 691,318 monthly listeners. In the previous survey they were No 3. Casefile True Crime (Audioboom) came 2nd and had 559,884 monthly listeners. In 3rd position is Mamamia Out Loud (Mamamia) with 537, 179 monthly listeners. Hamish and Andy (LiSTNR), who were previously No 2, are now in 5th place with 473,900 monthly listeners. More details below. The complete charts can be viewed here.

SCA Announces New Appointments

SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
