Australian Podcast Ranker – January

The Australian Podcast Ranker for January has been released by Commercial Radio and Audio (CRA) and Triton Digital. The No 1 Podcast this survey is Mamamia Out Loud (Mamamia) with 755,303 monthly listeners. (Last survey No 2). ABC News Top Stories (ABC) was in second place with 543,854 monthly listeners and in third place Sky News Australia Update with 447,400 monthly listeners. Conversations (ABC) moves to 4th spot with 392, 316 monthly listeners and in 5th spot was The Update (NOVA Entertainment) with 380, 270 monthly listeners. Click here for full list.

Super Radio Network Departures

Mike Byrne has left the Super Radio Network. He was the Network Content Director a role he took on in January this year.

GfK Radio Ratings Canberra Survey 1, 2026

In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.

ABC Radio Overnight Changes

On Easter Saturday April 4, ABC Radio Overnights presenter Michael Pavlich made an announcement concerning the future of the ABC overnights program.
