Benjamin Starr leaves 2BH to go Pure Country

Pure Country 87.6 has been launched online, worldwide and in Broken Hill by Benjamin Starr.

Starr bought the narrowcast station a few months ago with the dream of starting his own exclusively country station.

Taking some American shows and Australian, like Ray Hadley’s Country Music Countdown and The Camping and Off Road Radio Show with Robert “The Duck” Smith, Starr has also brought Eliza Jane, formerly of Hill FM 96.5, to mornings with Starr himself on breakfast.

Brian Newington is assisting with production and the station will also dedicated airtime to training students to become announcers and work in production.

We can listen on 87.6FM and online at www.purecountry.world
