In the very first Xtra Insights Campbelltown survey (1/2023) the most listened to station was Sydney’s KIIS 1065 with 21,3%. They were followed by ‘Macarthur’s own radio station’ C91.3FM with 13%. Next came 2GB with 9.6% and WSFM with 8.2%. KIIS 1065 was the most listened station in all sessions. Full details click on image below.
Wayne Browne – a well known Australian talk radio producer – has died following a short hospital stay. He passed away on February 7.
SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.
Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
