Chris ‘Matho’ Mathieson joins Alo on 93.5 Triple M

Triple M has announced that Dubbo local Chris ‘Matho’ Mathieson will join Alo Baker for the Breakfast show on Dubbo’s own 93.5 Triple M from October 24.

Matho found home in Dubbo in 2009, in what was only meant to be a 12 month stay in the Central West. Matho quickly became a true local when he met his wife, bought a house and knew Dubbo was where he wanted to raise his family. A true family man and local, Matho celebrates the best of this beautiful city every day.

With a history in radio, Matho started behind the microphone in 2009 on Dubbo radio with an expanded role that saw him also in production, promotions, program directing and writing copy. Matho comes with industry accolades, having been nominated for five Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAS) for Best Newcomer On-Air 2010, and Best Program Director in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

“I’m so pumped to be here, I get to work with a great company, with great people and I’m on air with a good mate, I couldn’t ask for more,” said Matho.

“Matho and I have been mates for years, it’s awesome to bring this friendship to the airwaves of Dubbo!” said Alo.

SCA Regional Content Director – Wagga Wagga, Duncan Potts, said: “It’s an exciting time for radio in Dubbo. It’s fantastic to have two mates now working together each morning for a show that will be ‘Everything Dubbo’, a great way for Dubbo to start the day with Matho & Alo.”

Catch Matho & Alo for Breakfast on Dubbo’s 93.5 Triple M 6-9am weekdays or via the LiSTNR app from Monday, October 24.
