Corey Oates will join Robin & Kip In The Morning on the 97.3FM Brisbane breakfast show . The new addition to the line-up means the 97.3 FM show will now be called Robin & Kip now with Corey Oates in the morning.
Oates is already a familiar face to sports fans, having played 12 seasons for the Brisbane Broncos and featured in nine State of Origin games for his home state since 2016 before announcing his retirement in October.
Mike Byrne has left the Super Radio Network. He was the Network Content Director a role he took on in January this year.
In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.
