Deborah Knight Departs Nine Radio

Deborah Knight is departing her Nine Radio network evening show to concentrate more on her new television commitments with the Nine network. In her full-time broadcast comeback, Knight will present the national 9News Morning bulletin at 11.30am weekdays, and will also helm 9News Afternoon in Sydney. Knight has been heard on 2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR in the weekly 7pm finance show. She previously presented the 2GB afternoon show and moved to the Money Show in November 2023.

In other Nine News, 2GB Jason Morrison will make a temporary return to radio, filling in for morning presenter Mark Levy during the upcoming survey break.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
