George Caralis, son of the late Bill Caralis, has stepped down as Broadcast Operations Director of the Super Radio Network.
On Linkedin he shared:
“As Bill and Pam Caralis’s son, I will always be proud of what Mum and Dad built and the people who helped them along the way. My interest in the network’s future and their legacy extends well beyond a board position. I remain proud of our stations, their people and the communities they serve. Regional radio has always been a big part of my family’s life, and it will continue to be a big part of mine.”
The Australian newspaper has reported that both George and his sister and co-director Despina Priala have now departed from their roles with Joan Warner now the sole director.
The network, the largest privately owned one in Australia, is for sale and includes 47 radio stations across NSW, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
