In the latest GfK Canberra radio survey (3/2024), MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with 22.2% (+4.3). They were followed by HIT 104.7 with 13.2% (-0.7), then ABC Canberra with 11% (-1.2). 2CA had a share of 6.5% (+1.0) with sister station 2CC on 5.2% (+1.6). Click on image for full details.
SCA has axed threes shows on the Triple M and Hit Network, as part of a cost cutting exercise that will see between 250 and 300 job losses within the company. (Source: Mumbrella). Among the breakfast show casualties were the Hit Network’s Bronte and Lakey breakfast show, anchored by Bronte Langbroek and Danny Lakey (pictured). The show recorded from Sea FM’s Gold Coast studio, and was simulcast across regional Queensland.
