GfK Metro Survey 5/2022

Talk stations 3AW and 2GB continued their reign at No 1 in the latest GfK Radio Survey (5/2022). 3AW had a share of 14.5% and 2GB 13.6%. The Nova brand rated No 1 in Brisbane and Perth. Nova 106.9 Brisbane had a share of 13% and Nova 93.7 Perth 16.5%. ABC was the top rating station in Adelaide with 11.7%. 4BC has already benefited with the signing of Laurel, Gary and Mark (4KQ) with breakfast increasing 2.1% to 10.1%. With the demise of 4KQ, 4BH also benefited and increased their share from 1.3% to 4.6%. Click on images below for full details.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
