In the first 2025 GfK Radio 360 Metro Radio Survey (#1), 2GB returned to No 1 in Sydney with a share of 11.6% (-0.2) -just 0.1% ahead of smooth FM. In Melbourne 3AW continued their reign at No 1 with 16.8% (-3.2). B105 remained No 1 in Brisbane with 12.4% (+0.9). Triple M was the most listened to station in Bendigo in the latest Xtra Insights Survey (#1/2026) with 25.1% (+3.0). Next came Hit 91.1 with 21.2 (+0.0) followed by Gold Central Victoria with 9.9% (+3.3).
Kiis FM could face cancellation of its radio station licence if ban breached, regulator says. The Guardian reports: Any Kiis FM radio program hosted by Kyle Sandilands and or Jackie “O” Henderson must not air strong sexual content for the next five years or ARN Media could face penalties as serious as the cancellation of the radio station’s licence.
