In the latest Gold Coast/Tweed GfK radio survey, Hot Tomato was once again the top rating station with a share of 21.8% (+2.0). They were followed by 92.5 Triple M Gold with 14.3% (-0.3) then SEA FM with 9% (-1.2). Hot Tomato was the No 1 station in all day and night sessions (people 10+). Wayne Browne – a well known Australian talk radio producer – has died following a short hospital stay. He passed away on February 7.

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
