Gold Coast’s 94.1FM Birthday and Christmas Party

94.1FM Gold Coast turned 10 this year 1st April 2023. Unfortunately, they couldn’t celebrate at the time so they combined their Christmas Party with their decade celebration. Over 40 Board, Staff, Volunteers and family celebrated recently at the Northcliffe Surf Lifesaving Club.

CBAA Surveys are showing the station as a major radio station on the coast with over 100K weekly listeners and growing. The station certainly dominates 55+ and is No 2 on the coast 40+.

CEO Gary Field (in picture below with Gary Boughen) said he’s extremely proud of the whole team who’s experience and hard work has truly brought together the Gold Coast community.

Gary said the new year will see a number of new shows introduced to the format with new station personalities such as Craig Bennett & Tania Zaetta.

He said now is the time for Community Stations to truly offer alternative “local” services.

The 10 Year Birthday Cake was cut by the 10 Year Club original presenters, Gary Boughen, Niven Walton, John Kerr and Gary Field.
