Greg Magnus New Manager of 2PK / ROK FM Parkes

Greg Magnus has taken over the Station Manager’s role from Paul Batchelor at 2PK and ROK FM Parkes. Greg has been involved in both Print and Radio Media since leaving school in mid 1980’s and originally started his radio journey at 2PK in 1989.

Magnus has worked at many and varied stations across NSW, QLD and WA in roles from On Air, Production Manager, Music Director, Sales and now as 2PK/Rok FM Station Manager.

2PK / ROK FM is a part of the privately owned network of over 52 Stations in NSW, QLD and NT owned by the Caralis family – The Super Radio Network.

SCA Announces New Appointments

SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.

Brisbane’s own long-standing Christian radio station 96.5, has unveiled its new name and brand identity: Rise 96.5. The station was birthed in Brisbane on the FM dial almost 30 years ago. (on air team pictured above)
