Hot100 Darwin Changes

Hot100 Darwin has announced an all-new on-air line up. Jax Ward – a well known voice in the Darwin community – moves from the Drive slot to take over Hot Breakfast. Joining Jax on brekky will be Lauren ‘Davo’ Davidson, who comes over from Fresh927 Breakfast in Adelaide.

A staple of the city’s midday routine, Xylon ‘Xy’ McEwan remains host of the lunchtime shift, while Jac Cowan joins Hot100’s Darwin team, taking over the Drive shift.

Hailing from Magic 89.9 in Port Lincoln, Jac is known for her ready-to-throw-herself-into-everything spirit.

Luke Griffin will continue to be heard on Sundays.

Super Radio Network Departures

Mike Byrne has left the Super Radio Network. He was the Network Content Director a role he took on in January this year.

GfK Radio Ratings Canberra Survey 1, 2026

In the first GfK Canberra Survey for 2026, MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with a share of 22.8% (+0.6). Next came Hit 104.7 with 13.3% (-0.6) closely followed by ABC Canberra with 13.1% (+1.3). In fourth place was 2CA with 7.7% (+3.4). ABC Canberra was No 1 in breakfast (+4.7). 2RN dropped 8.3% in breakfast. ABC Canberra were also up 10.6% in evening.

ABC Radio Overnight Changes

On Easter Saturday April 4, ABC Radio Overnights presenter Michael Pavlich made an announcement concerning the future of the ABC overnights program.
