3AW has unveiled the first stage in a revamped line up for its AFL coverage. Jacqui Felgate, one of Melbourne’s best known broadcasters across TV and radio, will join 3AW’s leading footy commentary and analysis team in 2023.

Felgate will be joined by Matthew Lloyd, Jimmy Bartel, Leigh Matthews, Caroline Wilson, Tim Lane and a host of others.

After stints filling in on 3AW Breakfast and Afternoons, Felgate is delighted to be joining 3AW.

“I grew up listening to 3AW footy while standing with my mum in the outer at Kardinia Park,” she said.

“I’ve loved filling in over recent months and I’m delighted to be able to talk footy with our listeners next season. It really is a privilege to work alongside such experienced and talented broadcasters.”

Further, Sam McClure will be the inaugural host of 3AW’s Wide World of Sports radio program, set to debut Wednesday, November 2 at 6.00pm.

Wide World of Sports will launch two new AFL Podcasts in 2023, featuring 3AW’s stellar line up of commentators and analysts for the best in-depth discussion about AFL.
