James Findlay says goodbye to the Territory

ABC Darwin announcer James Findlay is leaving his afternoon gig on ABC Darwin. On social media he announced “Goodbye the Territory, hello South Australia. Excited to tell you I’ve got a new gig hosting Statewide Drive across regional South Australia and Broken Hill until June next year. Based in Adelaide, I start on-air November 6. My last day on air across the Territory is Friday!”

RIP Wayne Browne

Wayne Browne – a well known Australian talk radio producer – has died following a short hospital stay. He passed away on February 7.

SCA Announces New Appointments

SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
