About the Role:
2SM is on the lookout for an experienced Panel Operator/Assistant Producer to join our team for the Breakfast Show. If you’re passionate about radio, thrive in a fast-paced live broadcast environment, and have a keen ear for great audio, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
🎛️ Operate the broadcast panel during the Breakfast Show, ensuring smooth and professional audio output.
🎤 Assist in show production, including sourcing audio grabs and setting up interviews.
📅 Work closely with the host and producers to coordinate show content and running orders.
⚡ Troubleshoot technical issues in real time to keep the broadcast running seamlessly.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Previous experience as a panel operator in a live radio environment.
✔️ Strong technical skills and a good understanding of radio broadcasting equipment.
✔️ Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔️ A passion for radio, news, and current affairs.
✔️ Knowledge of on-air radio software and systems
