Jodie and Hayesy Up And Running

Nova 919’s new breakfast show Jodie & Hayesy has hit the Adelaide airwaves earlier than expected, delivering listeners a special pop-up breakfast show on Saturday morning, ahead of theiranticipated start on Monday January 9.

Jodie & Hayesy will be heard weekdays in breakfast alongside Ben, Liam & Belle from 6-7am, with the new duo kicking off from 7-9am on Nova 919.

One of Adelaide’s most experienced and loved radio announcers, Jodie Oddy spent 13 years as host of the #1 FM breakfast show on Mix and has been a freelance presenter and journalist for Network 10 for over 20 years. In August 2021 she joined the Nova Network, making her return to radio as host of Nova 919’s Saturday breakfast show, and returns to breakfast alongside Andrew ‘Hayesy’ Hayes as Nova 919’s new breakfast show.

“We wanted to get stuck in early to give Hayesy all the practice he’s going to need … gotta start somewhere!” said Jodie.

Hayesy has forged a successful radio career off the back of an impressive football career that includes four premierships with the SANFL Central Districts. Hayesy made a name for himself as a sports reporter for Channel Seven news and reporter for the SA Weekender lifestyle show and prior to joining Nova 919 was co-host of SEN’s breakfast show.

Hayesy added, “We were sick of waiting around, so thought why not jump in early and dust the cobwebs off.”

Listeners around the country can stream the show live via the Nova Player.
