The Daily Telegraph Reports that NSW Premier Chris Minns has confirmed the family of John Laws has accepted the offer of a state funeral, which will be held on November 19 at St Andrew’s Cathedral in Sydney.
Laws passed away at his Sydney home on Sunday Nov 9 aged 90 after a long illness.
Premier Minns said the service, set for 1.30pm next Wednesday 19 November will be an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the enormous contribution Laws made to Australian media and broadcasting.
