Josh Haizer appointed Group PD of Capital Radio Network

The Capital Radio Network has appointed Joshua Haizer to the role of Group Program Director, overseeing operations across the network’s five markets in Canberra, Perth, Goulburn, the Snowy Mountains and Gippsland. Current Group PD Peter Davidson, who has been with the network for 18 years, will finish up on August 22.

Chief Operating Officer of Capital Radio Network, Michael Jones thanked Davidson for his contribution saying:

“Peter leaves a huge pair of shoes to be filled. His experience and knowledge is a challenge to replace. Joshua has a deep understanding of Capital Radio’s brands and formats having worked with us in production and operations for a number of years in Canberra and is the perfect person to lead our programming into the future.”

The Capital Radio Network operates Forever Classic formats 2CA, 6iX, GNFM, XLFM and 3GG as well as Eagle FM, Snow FM, 2CC and a range of DAB+ and narrowcast stations.

Haizer commences the new role on September 16.

Born in Geraldton in Western Australia, Cometti played 40 matches for West Perth in the WAFL before launching into a full-time broadcasting career. He worked for the ABC from 1972 to 1985, where he broadcast his first Test cricket match aged 23.

ARN Media Limited [ASX: A1N] announces that Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she “cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands.” Accordingly, ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Ms Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show. Ms Henderson will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show. ARN has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.
