Former Senior ABC Producer Katrina Palmer has been appointed as Manager of ABC Radio Sydney.
Most recently, she was Head of Communications at the Victorian Ombudsman as well as Communications Lead at the Compensation Scheme of Last Resort. She previously spent 13 years at the ABC. Palmer will take on the new manager role in 2025.
Wayne Browne – a well known Australian talk radio producer – has died following a short hospital stay. He passed away on February 7.

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
