Keegan Brown has been appointed as the new breakfast host of 92.7 Zoo FM Dubbo.
Zoo FM Program Director Bret ‘Muz’ Murray had been filling in on the station’s breakfast slot for nearly two years since the departure of the previous breakfast duo Dan & Sarah. Brown has completed the part time Graduate Diploma in Radio & Podcasting course with AFTRS when he was offered the job.
Brown was a technical Manager and presenter at 2SSR beginning on 30 November 2020.
Brisbane radio and TV personality Jamie Dunn has died at the age of 75. Dunn passed away at his family home at Imbil on the Sunshine Coast on March 7. Dunn, is most famous as the man (and hand) behind the popular puppet Agro. Dunn was an original member of the B105 Morning Crew alongside co-hosts Donna Lynch and Ian Skippen, when the station launched on the FM band in 1990.
Dennis Cometti, Australian TV and radio broadcaster, who coined some of the AFL’s most memorable phrases, has died aged 76. Born in Geraldton in Western Australia, Cometti played 40 matches for West Perth in the WAFL before launching into a full-time broadcasting career. He worked for the ABC from 1972 to 1985, where he broadcast his first Test cricket match aged 23.
ARN Media Limited [ASX: A1N] announces that Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she “cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands.” Accordingly, ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Ms Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show. Ms Henderson will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show. ARN has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.
