ABC Brisbane breakfast presenter Loretta Ryan celebrates 40 years in radio in 2023.

First starting in radio at the age of 17, Loretta worked diverse roles including schedules, production, promotions, news and presenting.

During her seven years at Stereo Ten, Loretta completed a cadetship in the newsroom, before joining Triple M for 16 years. She wrote and presented news, was News Director and also co-hosted a Sports and Entertainment program.

A move to 4BH saw Loretta co-host Breakfast for four years, then to the 4BC afternoon show followed by a return to Breakfast.

Loretta moved to the ABC in 2015, has presented on all programs across ABC Radio Brisbane network.

Loretta joined Rebecca Levingston on Friday morning to celebrate her career.

Territory FM relocated to a new broadcast centre in the Danala | Education and Community Precinct in September last year after being based at the CDU Casuarina campus since 1981.
