Mal Lees Sets The Alarm Clock For Early Rises

Radio 97 recently announced that radio personality Mal Lees has made a much-anticipated return to the breakfast airwaves. Mal has taken up the helm of the breakfast show, waking up audiences across the Gold Coast, Tweed, and Northern Rivers from 6am.

Mal is best known as one half of the iconic radio comedy duo Club Veg, alongside the late Vic Davies. The pair dominated the drive-time ratings on Triple M Sydney for  years, entertaining listeners with their unique blend of humor and irreverence.

With an impressive career spanning Triple J, C91.3, 2SM, Triple M, and Hot Tomato on the Gold Coast, Mal brings a wealth of experience, energy, and fun to the breakfast slot on Radio 97.

As part of the Super Radio Network’s commitment to live and local programming; previous breakfast host Steve Murphy will nowget a well deserved sleep in and move to host a live and local afternoon show from midday, ensuring continued connection with the community throughout the day.
