ARN’s 91.1 Hot FM and Zinc 96 have announced the appointment of Mark Hine as Content Director for the Sunshine Coast, commencing Monday, 1 June 2026.
Mark spent 18 years as co-host of Brisbane’s top-rating Breakfast show Laurel, Gary & Mark on 4KQ. After 4KQ ceased operations in 2022, a short time later they joined 4BC. He is also well known as the long-time ground announcer for the Brisbane Lions. Most recently he was Content Director at Star 102.7 and 4CA in Cairns.
Craig Bruce and Irene Hulme have decided yo conclude their Game Changers Radio podcasts. When the program first began Wade Kingsley was also part of the team but now presents the Quarter Hour podcast.
Dan Taylor, former Hit100.9 breakfast host, has joined ABC Northern Tasmania. This appointment is less than two months after SCA axed the Dan & Christie breakfast show.
HOT Tomato was once again the top rating station with a share of 19.5% (-2.2) in the latest GfK Radio 360: Gold Coast/Tweed Survey. Next came 92.5 Triple M Gold with 15.6% (+1.7) then 90.9 SEA FM with 9.9% (1.0). They were followed by ABC Gold Coast with 7.1% (+2.6).
