 Michelle Gray Appointed General Manager

Capital Radio Network is thrilled to announce the appointment of Michelle Gray to the position of General Manager / General Sales Manager of Radio Perth Pty Ltd.

Michelle will oversee the sales and operations of Radio Perth’s station’s Forever Classic 6iX, Kix Country Perth and My Perth DAB+.

Michelle has been with Radio Perth in the advertising sales department for over 7 years, and previously worked in advertising sales at 96fm and 6PR. 

Michelle Gray says, “I’ve had the pleasure of being with the Capital Radio Network at Forever Classic 6iX for over 7 years as an account manager and loved every day of it! Very excited to be taking on this new challenge and entering a new era of positivity and success for the station.”

Chief Operating Officer of Capital Radio Network, Michael Jones, says that this appointment recognises Michelle’s indepth knowledge of the Perth radio and advertising markets. Her management style and approach will bring a breath of fresh air to the team at 6iX

Dennis Cometti, Australian TV and radio broadcaster, who coined some of the AFL’s most memorable phrases, has died aged 76. Born in Geraldton in Western Australia, Cometti played 40 matches for West Perth in the WAFL before launching into a full-time broadcasting career. He worked for the ABC from 1972 to 1985, where he broadcast his first Test cricket match aged 23.

ARN Media Limited [ASX: A1N] announces that Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she “cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands.” Accordingly, ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Ms Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show. Ms Henderson will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show. ARN has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.
