New Brekky Show for 102.3 Triple M Townsville

102.3 Triple M Townsville is launching a new Breakfast show, the CK & Kate Breakfast Show, set to wake up North Queensland from Monday, 8 June.

It will bring together two familiar North Queensland voices – Cliff ‘CK’ Kern and Kate Jeboult. Born and raised in Townsville, CK joined 102.3 Triple M Townsville in 2021 and has become a familiar voice across the region through his work on radio, as well as his role as ground announcer alongside Kate for the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. He’s no stranger to Breakfast listeners, having stepped in to co-host the show for several weeks during Cliffo’s long-service leave last year.

CK joins Kate Jeboult, who has co-hosted Townsville’s top-rating Breakfast show alongside Cliffo since joining 102.3 Triple M in January 2024. Since moving to Townsville in 2017, Kate has firmly embedded herself in the local community. In 2019 she founded the news platform Townsville Scoop, a place for locals to discover what’s happening in their hometowns, which has reached more than 1.1 million people.

GfK Radio 360 Metro Radio Survey (5/2026)

In the latest GfK Radio 360 Metro Radio Survey (#5), smooth FM was once again the No 1 station in Sydney with a share of 13.5% (+0.1). 3AW continues as the No 1 station in Melbourne with a share of 14.1% (-0.1). B105 is once again No 1 in Brisbane with 12.0% (+0.0). Triple M is still the top rating station in Adelaide with 14.3% (-0.2). In Perth, Nova 93.7 is No 1 with 17.6% (+0.9).

ATN Traffic Content Returns to Tapt Media Stations

Tapt Media has partnered with the Australian Traffic Network (atn) in a strategic deal that will enhance its traffic operations and create new sponsorship opportunities across its radio and digital audio network. Effective 1 October 2026, atn’s traffic content will return across 2GB Sydney, 3AW Melbourne, 4BC Brisbane and 6PR Perth, allowing the network to expand its live traffic updates into drive-time slots and expanded weekend hours across both broadcast and digital streaming.
