Nick Lowther is leaving ABC Western Plains and joining 702 ABC Radio Sydney as their new manager.

Nick reports: “Next month I start a new chapter. I’m in my final days as Editor at ABC Western Plains, and soon heading east. I’ll be stepping into the role of Manager at 702 ABC Radio Sydney—an honour and a responsibility that still feels a little surreal. Life will look different, with my two greatest loves staying in Dubbo while I navigate the city and we all learn how to balance being both town and country people.”

“As many of you know, I’m a lifelong radio fanatic, and I’m humbled to take the helm of one of the ABC’s oldest and most iconic stations. But leaving Dubbo, and the incredible team I’ve been so lucky to lead, comes with every emotion. They are, without doubt, the finest regional bureau in the country, and I couldn’t be prouder. Onwards we go.”
