Nikki Osborne quits live on air at NOVA 106.9

The Courier Mail reports: “Nova 106.9 breakfast host Nikki Osborne has quit just one week after a co-host’s axing, with a shock replacement announced.”

Mister Brisbane (Brett Debritz) has reported: The worst-kept secret in radio was confirmed this morning (Friday) when Nikki Osborne announced she is leaving Nova 106.9 — to go to America to make a series based on her “Bush Barbie” YouTube series.

It was also announced, as predicted by Mister Brisbane, that Nick Allen-Ducat, a former Nova producer and Sandman driver, will be anchoring the show, and that former co-host Susie O’Neill will be returning.

Osborne’s departure follows that of Ash Bradnam, who made a cameo with a large flathead during his brother Luke’s 9News Gold Coast weather and fishing report on Thursday evening.
