Commercial Radio and Audio (CRA) will not be holding the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) in 2025.

The annual recognition of radio and audio talent, with more than 70 ACRAs across 8 categories last year, will return in 2026 and is promised to be bigger and better than ever.

The news came via an internal memorandum with the reasons believed to be financial, with some major industry expenditure expected.

It is also believed that plans are underway to significantly expand the 2026 Awards.
 
Commercial Radio Australia is not making any comment on its internal communication with members a this time.
