Pinky & Macca Head New Triple M Central Queensland Breakfast Show

Triple M Central Queensland is waking up to a brand-new Breakfast show with Pinky & Macca on-air across the region. Also a new addition to the show is Matthew “Macca” McDonald.

Macca began in community radio in Port Stephens before moving to SCA’s Hit Network Fraser Coast in 2023 .

Macca’s joined by Pinky Neven, celebrating a decade on Triple M Breakfast this year. The duo’s new show, launched 11 August.

McDonald said: It’s been a great first couple of weeks getting to know the loyal Triple M listeners and working alongside the absolute legend of a human that is Pinky. I was never built for a ‘real job’ and have always dreamt of one day being on ‘the Ms’, so it’s a dream come true to officially join the club.”

Blair Woodcock, SCA Head of Regional Content, said: “Macca is a great example of the talent pathway we’re fostering within SCA, moving from Hit on the Fraser Coast to now joining one of our most respected local voices in Pinky. Pinky has spent a decade at the heart of the Central Queensland community. With Macca’s enthusiasm alongside her, Pinky & Macca will bring the perfect mix of experience, energy, and local knowledge to Triple M listeners.”

Listen to Pinky & Macca for Breakfast on Triple M Central Queensland, 6-9am weekdays, or on LiSTNR.
