Ray Kington appointed new GM for Radio Goulburn

Ray Kington is the new General Manager of Radio Goulburn overseeing Eagle FM, GN FM and Kix Country Goulburn. Kington will replace Josh Matthews who was both GM in Goulburn and the Chief Operating Officer of the broader Capital Radio Network. Matthews leaves to move into law.

Kington was most recently working at 2ST. He was previously Station Manager at 2MBS FM in Sydney and before that Hope 103.2‘s longest serving Drive presenter. He has also held roles as Program Director, Creative Director and Promotions Director across stations including 4VL, Sun FM QLD, 2AY and 2CH.

Kington commences in this new role on Monday July 8.

SCA Announces New Appointments

SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
