Rick Lenarcic appointed CEO of the Capital Radio Network

Capital Radio Network have appointed Rick Lenarcic as their Chief Executive Officer.

Lenarcic was most recently with Tapt Media, where he was Head of Direct Sales and Operations and had worked for 18 months across the purchase of the former Nine Radio by the Laundy Family Trust.

Blyton Group Chair, Lucy Blyton-Gray, says:
“Rick is one of the most experienced operators in Australian radio, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Capital Radio family. His deep understanding of live and local broadcasting, combined with his proven commercial and operational leadership, makes him ideally suited to lead our network at this important time.

Rick Lenarcic says:
“Capital Radio Network has an outstanding legacy built on genuine connection with its communities across Canberra, Goulburn, the Snowy Mountains, Gippsland and Perth. I’ve always believed that regional radio, done well, is the most powerful local medium there is. I look forward to working with the talented team here to strengthen that connection and build on what Kevin Blyton created over more than four decades.”

Rick will be based in Canberra and commences the role early in July.
