Scott Mayman Returns To Air News

Scott Mayman has returned to AIR NEWS to cover state and territory news for SA, Tasmania, WA, the Northern Territory and the ACT.

Mayman has spent nearly 40 years in broadcasting in Australia and the US as a news presenter, director, host, teacher and mentor. He said: “I’m thrilled about providing local news for local communities. Air News fills a much needed gap in localism that so many radio stations have abandoned.  Even in capital cities, alot of that localism has been forgotten about as some outlets focus on filling gaps with national content.”

After stints in Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney and Kansas City to name just a few, Scott says he is happiest at home on the Gold Coast, firing up the barbie and spending time with his wife and young son.
