Triple M New Breakfast Show

The Daily Mail reports that Triple M Melbourne has finally confirmed who will be presenting their new weekday breakfast show following the shock departure of Marty Sheargold. The network confirmed a trio of media personalities will be stepping into Sheargold’s shoes, after the star confirmed he will not be returning to the morning radio slot. Comedian Wil Anderson, former AFL star Dale Thomas and esteemed producer Rosemary Walton will be fronting the new breakfast show.

All three have previously worked at Triple M and are known for their bold and amusing presenting styles.

Their as-yet unnamed show is set to premiere on Monday at 6am, permanently replacing The Marty Sheargold Show, which had been on air since 2021.

The hosting shake-up comes after Sheargold confirmed last week that he had stepped down from the Triple M Melbourne Breakfast Show.

While the broadcaster will not return to the breakfast program, he will continue his podcast and national 3pm slot with the network.
