Former radio colleagues are paying tribute to industry veteran Ric Ditchburn (born Richard Ditchburn) after his recent death in Geelong. Ric is best known for his on air work at Magic 1278 Melbourne and in his early radio days at 3GL Geelong.
3AW Melbourne radio newsreader Tony Tardio says it was sad to hear Ditchburn had passed away. “He was a radio professional with an engaging style and knew how to tell a story.”

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
