ABC Great Southern is the station most listened to with 24.1% (+3.6) in the latest Xtra Insights Albany survey. Next came Hit 95.3 with 23.8% (+0.8), then triple j 11.9% (-5.8) followed by Triple M Albany 11.3% (+0.8).

Wayne Browne – a well known Australian talk radio producer – has died following a short hospital stay. He passed away on February 7.

Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.
