ACE Radio Programming Role Changes

ACE Radio has announced a change of leadership in their programming across the ACE Radio Network. Mat Cummins is re-assuming total control of all 18 ACE stations (whilst remaining Gippsland General Manager of TRFM/Gold1242). Mat was previously Group Content Director of ACE over a 5 year period. Mat says he is pleased to be back in the “ACE Group Content Director” chair, a position that he missed. Jon Vertigan who for the last 18 months was the ACE Content Director, will now focus on Easy Music 3MP only from a programming point of view as we move to re-establish the once iconic 3MP brand and format. Jon’s new title is “ACE Metro Content Director.”

SCA Announces New Appointments

SCA has announced a series of senior national content appointments across the Hit Network. Ellie Angel-Mobbs (pictured) has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Operations & Announcer. Tim Lee has been appointed HIT Network Assistant Content Director – Creative & Announcer. Kiri Martin has been promoted to HIT Network Senior Music Director / Event Partnerships & 2DayFM Assistant Content Director.

Nova’s New Changes

Nova has confirmed a major national realignment of its on-air lineup. Beginning on Monday February 9, Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie will move out of Sydney Breakfast and into national Drive. Under the new structure, the Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell show will take over Breakfast, replacing the current Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie team, while Joel Creasey is expected to shift into a full-time role at Nova Perth, leaving the Sydney show.

Brisbane’s own long-standing Christian radio station 96.5, has unveiled its new name and brand identity: Rise 96.5. The station was birthed in Brisbane on the FM dial almost 30 years ago. (on air team pictured above)
