Allan Shepherd makes A Move To Australia

Allan Shepherd, Assistant Content Director at NZME in New Zealand, has announced – “After two and a half years, I’ve decided it’s time to move home to Australia! Next stop for me is Canberra working as the Operations Manager for Hit 104.7 and Mix 106.3.” He added: “I’ve had so many highlights working at New Zealand Media & Entertainment, from:

  • Identifying talent in a newsreader and promoting them to an on-air role in a metropolitan market
  • Career guidance and mentoring – resulting in a radio school intern progressing to a New Zealand Radio Award-winning Executive Producer for The Hits Drive within two years
  • and conducting a full review of The Hits digital and audio strategy which identified opportunities to build and grow audiences on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and iHeartRadio.
