Ange McCormack leaving Triple J for 7am podcast

Digital Editor Ange McCormack is leaving triple j after eight years to host the 7am podcast while Ruby Jones takes maternity leave.

McCormack said on LinkedIn,

“I’m so lucky to have spent my formative years at a place that has taught me EVERYTHING I know. From reporting to hosting to learning from the best radio and journalism brains in the country – working at triple j has been the single biggest privilege of my life.”

Named Young Journalist of the Year at the Kennedy Awards in 2019, McCormack was also a digital producer for Unravel True Crime and a triple j Hack reporter for seven years.

She starts on 7am on July 17.
