103.1 Power FM is the most listened to station in Ballarat according to the latest Xtra Insights radio survey. They had a share of 28.1% (+0.7), followed by sister station 3BA 102.3FM with 21.2% (-0.8). Next came triple j with 8.6% (+1.1) then ABC Ballarat with 5% (-0.1). Power FM was No 1 in all sessions. John Summerton has died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the first General Manager at 2 Double 0 in Wollongong (now i98FM), and of Power FM /2ST Nowra for 23 years before his retirement in 2013. Summerton spent nearly 50 years in radio including on air roles at 2WL Wollongong and programming and on air roles at 2CH in Sydney.
