Katie Kimberley, the head of Communications for Commercial Radio and Audio (CRA) and a former state political reporter and newsreader for 2GB has left CRA after a year in the role, part time.

Hot 100 was the most listened to station in Darwin in the latest Xtra Insights Survey (#1/2024) with 38.1% (-1.1). Next came Mix 104.9 with 25.2% (+3.6) followed by ABC Darwin with 10.3% (-2.2).

Anna Moulder Departs ABC New England Drive

Anna Moulder hosted her final ABC program on Friday March 8 after nearly 20 years with the ABC and three hosting NSW Drive in Tamworth. She has been a part of the New England region, with roles including Chief of Staff since the start of 2007.

Kyle and Jackie O Replace Jason and Lauren

Melbourne radio star Lauren Phillips has revealed the brutal way her show was axed so Kyle and Jackie O could sign their massive new deal. Jason Hawkins and Lauren Phillips – who co-host KIIS FM’s breakfast show Jase & Lauren – are collateral damage in a monster $200 million contract offered to Sandilands and Henderson, which will see the Sydney duo remain with the ARN for another 11 years and expand their show into Melbourne for the first time from next year. GfK Metro Radio Ratings Survey 3

The third metro radio ratings survey results have been released. The survey was conducted by GfK for Commercial Radio Australia between Sun Feb 26 to Sat Apr 1 & Sun Apr 16 to Sat May 20, 2023.
This is the first survey to use the new GfK 360 audience measurement method.

GfK Metro Survey 1, 2023

In the first GfK metro survey for 2023 the top rating stations are: KIIS 1065 with a share of 11.9% finally toppling talk station 2GB. The Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show also rated No 1 in Sydney. It was the first time in 18 years or 146 consecutive surveys that 2GB didn’t rate No 1. Melbourne talk station 3AW continued at No 1 with 16.6%. In Brisbane Nova 106.9 rated No 1 with 12.2% and Perth’s Nova 93.7 was the top station with a share of 17%. In Adelaide the No 1 station was Mix 102.3 with 12.3%.
