GfK Metro Survey 1, 2023

In the first GfK metro survey for 2023 the top rating stations are: KIIS 1065 with a share of 11.9% finally toppling talk station 2GB. The Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show also rated No 1 in Sydney. It was the first time in 18 years or 146 consecutive surveys that 2GB didn’t rate No 1. Melbourne talk station 3AW continued at No 1 with 16.6%. In Brisbane Nova 106.9 rated No 1 with 12.2% and Perth’s Nova 93.7 was the top station with a share of 17%. In Adelaide the No 1 station was Mix 102.3 with 12.3%. GfK Canberra Survey 3/2024

In the latest GfK Canberra radio survey (3/2024), MIX 106.3 was once again the top rating station with 22.2% (+4.3). They were followed by HIT 104.7 with 13.2% (-0.7), then ABC Canberra with 11% (-1.2). 2CA had a share of 6.5% (+1.0) with sister station 2CC on 5.2% (+1.6).

Graham Edwards, a longtime Broadcast Engineer at Territory FM 104.1, has recently passed away.

GfK Radio 360 Metro Radio Survey (6/2024)

In the latest GfK Radio 360 Metro Radio Survey (6/2024) there was quite a bit of movement. The top rating station in Sydney this survey was KIIS 1065 with 10.8% (+0.1) replacing long time leader 2GB (-3.1), now 10.2%. KISS are just ahead of WS FM with 10.7% (+1.3). In Melbourne 3AW continued their reign at No 1 with 14.9% (+0.2). In Adelaide, MIX102.3 was the new top rating station with 13.5% (+1.3). In Brisbane B105 remained at No 1 with 12.7% (-0.6). In Perth, 96FM moved into the No 1 spot with 15.2% (-0.9).
