GfK Metro Survey 1, 2023

In the first GfK metro survey for 2023 the top rating stations are: KIIS 1065 with a share of 11.9% finally toppling talk station 2GB. The Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show also rated No 1 in Sydney. It was the first time in 18 years or 146 consecutive surveys that 2GB didn’t rate No 1. Melbourne talk station 3AW continued at No 1 with 16.6%. In Brisbane Nova 106.9 rated No 1 with 12.2% and Perth’s Nova 93.7 was the top station with a share of 17%. In Adelaide the No 1 station was Mix 102.3 with 12.3%. Aiden Grant Joins 96Three Geelong

Aiden Grant will join Geelong’s 96three as Assistant Content Director and Drive show host. He moves from Christian station 1079 Life FM Adelaide, where he has lived for the past 10 years. He has also worked for SAFM and Nova in Adelaide as well as K-Rock in Geelong.

Australian Podcast Ranker – April

The Australian Podcast Ranker has been released by Commercial Radio and Audio (CRA) and Triton Digital. The top 5 podcasts in April were: Hamish & Andy (918,977 monthly listeners), followed by Casefile True Crime (814,928), then ABC News Top stories (668,722), Mamamia Out Loud (547,801) and in fifth spot Shameless (527,448 monthly listeners)

Ipswich – Xtra Insights Survey 1: 2024

River 94.9 is the station most listened to in the latest Ipswich Xtra Insights survey (#1/2024). They had a share of 33.6% (+4.0). Next came B105 with 13.4% (-1.3) then Triple M with 10.1% (+3.8). River 94.9 was the station listened to most in all sessions.
