Changes To Breakfast At Star 104.5

NOVA Entertainment has announced that after almost three years with Star 104.5, Sarah Forster has made the difficult decision to depart the Rabbit & Sarah breakfast show. With over 18 years radio and news experience, Sarah Forster was a regular voice on Star 104.5 before joining Dave ‘Rabbit’ Rabbetts as co-host of the breakfast show in January 2020.

Sarah Forster said, “It has been an absolute privilege to spend the past two years waking up the Central Coast and connecting with so many beautiful people and small businesses in our community, but I feel now is the time to take my career in a different direction. I look forward to plenty more laughs and quite possibly a tear or two before I finish up in December.”

Shayne Sinclair, Star 104.5’s Program Director remarked on the impact and contribution Sarah has made during her time with the breakfast show.

Sarah came into the lives of our audience during some of their hardest days ever due to the pandemic, something that would be incredibly challenging for even the most seasoned of presenters. But during all that, Sarah had a remarkable way of connecting with our audience through content that was light-hearted, entertaining and fun. I’d like to thank Sarah for her commitment and contribution over the last two years,” he said.

Rabbit said, “Working alongside Sarah these last two years has been stacks of fun! Lots of laughs and great moments with our listeners, and our first number one survey result. We’ve had a blast and I wish her all the best in her next challenge.”

Sarah will conclude her time with the breakfast show on 3 December when the team broadcast their final show for the year. Rabbit will continue as host in 2022 with details of Star 104.5’s new look breakfast show to be announced shortly.
