Cherie Romaro Honoured By AFTRS

Cherie Romaro, former General Manager of 2CH, has been honoured by AFTRS. She was
presented with an honorary degree from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, with Broadcaster Mitch Torres and VR Artist Lynette Wallworth also honoured. Cherie was Australia’s first female music director for Radio 2SM, Sydney and Program Director for Triple M, Sydney, before becoming Australia’s first female Radio Network General Manager with the ARN in 1992.
